Andrea Jaime Albalat

Andrea Jaime Albalat is a space economy and European launch speaker, aerospace engineer and Sales Director at Isar Aerospace. She brings a distinctive combination of commercial, technical and institutional experience to conversations about access to space, launch markets and European space strategy.

Her career spans Isar Aerospace, OHB System, the European Space Agency and the Space Generation Advisory Council. Before her current role, Andrea worked across business development for human spaceflight, microgravity, exploration and robotics, giving her perspective across both established space organisations and Europe's evolving NewSpace ecosystem.

Andrea translates this experience into commercially relevant insights on how space technologies become markets, how public and private actors interact, and why independent access to space has become strategically important for Europe.

An experienced international speaker and moderator, she has contributed to the International Astronautical Congress and industry and policy discussions on launch, sustainable access to space and European strategic capabilities. Her 2024 IAC participation included a symposium keynote on scaling rocket production.
